Surprisingly well written, with only 1-2 very minor editing mistakes. Not a lot of character development on Tyler, just enough to let readers know why he had some abandonment issues. There was no character development on Drake, other than to say that he went from small-time to blockbuster movie actor. Extremely brief, limited interaction with only 1 other secondary character; every other interaction was only mentioned by way of telling that a conversation had taken place. Even the interaction between the 2 MCs is pretty limited. Readers only get one sex scene; outside of that we're told that Drake follows Tyler to work to help out. You don't actually get much conversation or interaction between them, which is disappointing when it was said that Drake would be going out of his way to spend more time with Tyler. Because of this limited interaction, I didn't really feel much for either character and didn't feel compelled to root for their relationship. The ending certainly didn't help. I turned the page expecting another chapter or at least an epilogue and instead got a short author acknowledgements page. Like another reviewer said, this would have been so much better had it been longer and more fleshed out. As it stands, it just leaves more questions.Product details

This was a great second chance love story and the setting was like a third character. I'm a sucker for any sort of beach story and this didn't disappoint. I'm looking for more from this author. She's definitely one to watch.
I wanted something short to fill a bit of time I had waiting for an appointment, and did this ever fit the bill. The only problem was once I was done reading, I wish it had gone on longer. Ms. Kendrick has crafted a beautiful short story with so much emotion and wonderful lead characters. I really wouldn't mind reading the continuing story of Tyler and Drake.
And I was so disappointed when I visited her site and found no other stories written by her. She has a wonderful voice and writing style. It pulls you right in. I sincerely hope you're working on something, Ms. Kendrick, because I will be one of the first in line to purchase and read it!
Wonderful story! This is a debut book from Jenna Kendrick but you wouldn't believe so by the quality of the writing and the story-telling. Though it is a short read, it packs an emotional punch. The plot is well-developed and moves forward at a swift and well-crafted pace. I loved the two MC and the sex was hot and not over-done. I'm hoping maybe in the future we get to see more of these two guys!
Buy this without hesitation- you will not regret it one bit!!

Very well written and interesting. However, I wish it was longer (has great potential for a full book). Especially the ending, though happy and romanting, was a little bit sudden. I do believe that the author is very talented and I am going to follow her work. This is a story worth having, read and reread. Is it going to be book2?

This was a quite entertaining short story. Drake is a movie actor. He made it big in Hollywood with his film franchise Rage. However, fame has a price and the price for it is to stay in the closet or else roles will not come his way as suggested by his advisers. After dumping his boyfriend Taylor to pursue his career in Hollywood, Drake tries to make amends and get back to Ty as he calls him. Has Taylor moved on already? Will they get back together? You need to read to know.
The story is predictable but the writing was good and kept me entertained. Yes, it is very short and I wish it was a bit longer. There is a steamy scene so be warned.
